Delete your account
You can delete your OutagePing account yourself, at any time, without asking us. It takes about ten seconds.
From the web
- Sign in to your account.
- Scroll to Danger zone at the bottom of the page.
- Choose Delete my account and type your email address to confirm.
From the Android app
Open Cloud → Account → Delete my account. This deletes the whole account, not just this phone.
What gets deleted
Immediately and permanently:
- Your emergency contacts — their names, phone numbers and email addresses.
- Every phone you connected, and the tokens those phones used.
- Your outage history and the record of who was alerted.
- Your email address, password and any Google sign-in link.
- Any support conversations you opened with us.
Your Pro subscription is cancelled as part of this. We keep an anonymous record that a subscription once existed, with no name, address or contact details attached, because we have to account for the payment — and Paddle, who processes payments for us, keeps its own invoice record independently of your account.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no recovery window, so export anything you want to keep first.
Can't sign in?
Use the contact form from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm it's you before we do anything.
See the privacy policy for what we collect while the account is open.
